Camera and photo services across Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria and Cheshire

Wilkinson Cameras has seven stores across the North - in Preston, Liverpool, Carlisle, Warrington, Kendal, Southport and Chester - each offering the full range of in-store services. Whether you need a sensor clean before a shoot, a camera repair, a set of passport photos or just want to print some photos from your phone, you'll find what you need at your nearest store.

Many services are available on a walk-in basis with no appointment needed. A small number of services - including same-day sensor cleaning - are by appointment, so it's worth calling ahead if you're pressed for time. Check your nearest store page for specific service availability and opening hours.

What we offer in store

Camera sensor cleaning - available at all stores for DSLR and mirrorless cameras including full frame, APS-C and Micro Four Thirds sensors. Standard service from £40, with a two working day turnaround when booked in advance. Same-day appointments available at selected stores on request. We also accept cameras by post if you can't visit in person.

Camera and lens repairs - we arrange repairs through authorised service centres for most major brands including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic Lumix and OM System. Bring your camera into any store or send it to us by post. Quotes start at £75. Both in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs can be arranged.

Passport and ID photos - taken while you wait at all stores, using professional lighting against a dedicated backdrop. We cover UK passports, international visas and specialist ID documents. Our Preston, Carlisle and Warrington stores also offer the DNP ID+ digital coded passport photo system, which links directly to the UK government's passport network. Baby and toddler passport photos available.

Instant photo printing - print from your phone over WiFi, from a USB drive, or from a memory card at any of our stores. Sizes from 6x4 to panoramic, printed on high quality satin photo paper. Prices from 60p per print. A range of frames and albums are also available in store.

All stores also offer film developing, memory card image recovery and a part-exchange service for used cameras, lenses and accessories.
